Chalk the Vote: How Your Vote Impacts Education
Wednesday, October 19, 2016
6:30pm – 8:00pm
Clowes Memorial Hall, Krannert Room, Butler University
Social Hour to Follow
School on Wheels’ community outreach and advocacy group, SPOKES, is presenting a free education panel event, Chalk the Vote: How Your Vote Impacts Education. This event, in partnership with Butler University and Clowes Memorial Hall, will explore how each person’s vote can impact education policy.
In a major election year, panelists with diverse expertise will shed light on the educational policies that will be impacted by both local and national elections, and in turn, how those policies impact our city’s most vulnerable youth — those experiencing homelessness or living in poverty. A social hour with light refreshments will follow immediately after the panel.
