School on Wheels is collaborating with CHIP to provide a powerful, museum-like art experience filled with educational vignettes and audio/video stories from individuals experiencing homelessness in Indy. Combining audio, video, and tactile components, Homeless Voices immerses the visitor in the lives of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis. Stations include personal videos of individuals sharing their stories, replicated structures found in homeless camps, and other interactive/educational opportunities. Visitors will also learn about the crisis of homelessness in our community and how they can get involved. School on Wheels will have a special Virtual Reality Experience one night only during First Friday on November 3 from 6 pm – 10 pm at the Tube!
School on Wheels is proud to partner with the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention to present Homeless Voices.
