Each day we’re lucky to work with kids who tell us how thankful they are – whether thankful for their families, friends or their School on Wheels tutors! Today our staff wanted to share the things we are most thankful for – and many of the things we are thankful for revolve around you, our supporters, volunteers and advocates.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at School on Wheels!

I am thankful for a talented and dedicated staff and Board at School on Wheels. Not only is this group a joy to work with every day, but they are results-driven and inspire me to be the best CEO I can be. – Sally Bindley, CEO

I am thankful for the many mistakes I have made as well as the challenges and hardships I have experienced both personally and professionally. I am thankful for my husband and kids who provide just the right mix of chaos and calm, for my job that keeps me humble, for good books that keep my stress level in check, and of course, for coffee. – Karen, Director of Programs

I’m thankful for life through Jesus Christ, a sound mind, family, friends, freedom, food, laughter, Spanx, travel, women’s rights, & my employers (GEI & School on Wheels). – LaToya Black, Program Coordinator

I am thankful for good music and good friends, both human and furry. – Samantha Breeling, Volunteer Manager

I am thankful for the health of my family…when they’re healthy, and am thankful for having such awesome co-workers. – Erin Brown, Program Manager
