Grades are in and there’s so much to celebrate!

During the 2015/2016 school year, School on Wheels served 428 students experiencing homelessness and provided 7,972 hours of one-on-one tutoring. That’s over 60 more students than last year!

We also served 239 parents with 1,788 consultationsincluding workshops, parent meetings, communication with teachers and more  in order to equip them with the tools necessary to be the best advocates for their children’s education.

This year, 462 volunteer tutors gave their time to provide our students with the assistance they need to succeed academically – and we are seeing great results from these academic intervention programs!
