Community Engagement & Support
A work place that embraces the community is one that attracts and retains the best and brightest employees. By partnering with School on Wheels and advocating for those children who need your support, you can increase employee satisfaction and create a brighter future for some of Indianapolis’ most vulnerable children.

#PackAPack: Monetary donations are critical to sustaining School on Wheels’ impact in the community, but #PackAPack is a great opportunity for new organizations to get involved with in-kind support. It’s also an important tool for current corporate partners to further engage their employees. Our corporate #PackAPack Challenge partners help secure critical school supplies each summer. Participate in the #PackAPack Challenge June 21 – July 16 and help us secure new school uniforms.
Fund A Future: This year, over 5,000 children will be homeless in Indianapolis. $1,000 covers the cost of tutoring a student impacted by homelessness for one school year. Companies who support School on Wheels and the Fund A Future campaign with a gift of $1,000 have their logo included in a full page School on Wheels ad in the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Giving Guide, published November each year.
Education Celebration: Each year corporations and individuals help School on Wheels raise over $250,000 during our annual event that celebrates the academic accomplishments of children impacted by homelessness while honoring others dedicated to transforming lives through education. Stay tuned for our 2022 Education Celebration date and start planning the sponsor level right for your company. Sponsor opportunities range from $2,500 to a presenting sponsorship of $25,000.
You can transform the lives of our city’s most vulnerable children.
